I love adobo, out of all my favorite foods adobo makes it number one to the list. I have tried adobo from many different places and restaurants. Chicken adobo, pork adobo, adobo ribs, squid adobo, liver adobo, adobo rice, etc. Of course how can I forget the adobo I have tasted from my own home and the homes of people I know. Now to list the places and rate their adobo from 1-10, of course this is my personal preference only haha. For now this is all I can remember, haha. I'll edit as time passes by I do hope for people to suggest places where they serve good adobo, hopefully in Luzon, CALABARZON region would be good. haha

1. Binalot - 7, the chicken and pork adobo pieces wrapped with rice tomatoes and salted egg in a bannana leaf make this a a dish i could eat weekly during lunch time saturdays.

2. Kanin Club - 6, the chicken and pork adobo dish of kanin club goes well with the chorizo rice for me, but the flavor is a bit strong. Still good anyhow.

3. Congo grill - 6, Adobo rice, I think they call this adobong puso or something which is mainly adobo rice with a few adobo pork cubes in the mix, as well as some chicken pieces, it has a sort of mild burnt taste.

4. Fridays - 7, they serve adobo spareribs, a huge chunk of it. Although it is kind of oily it still tastes great, I just wish they would lower the price a bit.

i love adobo as well... but then again, the best adobo is the one cooked at home, shared with friends and family.. i just ate adobo earlier, theres nothing unusual about it but since i was eating it with my friends, made it taste much better...

I agree with you there, but I don't cook and at times of course it can get repetitive. Just ate adobo at UCC, placing it here after I tried another one.
